7th House Project feat. shemZee - Fly Me To The Moon

Some songs are just timeless. They are with you in every age and go with you, even if you are not thinking about them. And such a title is "Fly Me To The Moon". This song was written by Bart Howard, of whom no one has ever heard before - neither have I so far. But Frank Sinatra is probably related to it by everyone. And when I heard the vocals of shemZee I knew immediately: now it's time to make it my own song - probably the 500,000th version - but there are certainly worse ones, right?

Manche Lieder sind einfach zeitlos. Sie begleiten dich in jedes Zeitalter und gehen mit dir mit, auch wenn du gerade nicht an sie denkst. Und so ein Titel ist „Fly Me To The Moon“. Geschrieben hat diesen Song Bart Howard, von dem sicherlich noch nie jemand gehört hat – ich bislang auch nicht. Aber Frank Sinatra bringt wohl jeder damit in Verbindung. Und als ich die Vocals von shemZee gehört habe wusste ich sofort: jetzt ist es Zeit daraus mein eigenes Lied zu machen – wahrscheinlich die 500tausendste Version – aber es gibt sicherlich schlechtere, oder?

I like this song and I like how Sven interprets it. I remember the day we stood in my little studio and prepared the vocal recording. He knew immediately what it was all about and we only needed a few takes until we had his voice in the box.  

 Ich mag dieses Lied und ich mag wie Sven es interpretiert. Gerne erinnere ich mich an den Tag als ich mit ihm in meinem  Studio stand und die Gesangsaufnahme vorbereitete. Er wusste sofort um was es ging und wir brauchten nur wenige Takes bis wir seine Stimme im Kasten hatten.

 7th House Project feat. Diane Jessurun - Not Your Normal Girl

Diane has an incedibly strong voice, expressive and present. She can sing anything from rock to soft. I am very glad about her musical contribution to my album Insane.  

Diane hat eine wahnsinnig starke Stimme, ausdrucksstark und präsent. Sie kann alles singen von rockig bis sanft. Über ihren musikalischen Beitrag auf meinem Album Insane bin ich sehr froh.
